Professional harpist

Professional harpist for Wedding ceremonies. Monica Turoni graduated with honours at the Music Conservatory G. Rossini in Pesaro (Italy). She received the Master Course Diploma at the National Academy of St. Cecilia in Rome (Italy) and the Performer Diploma at the School of Music of Indiana University in Bloomington (USA) with Susann McDonald receiving the IU Merit Scholarship. She graduated at the Music Conservatory B. Maderna in Cesena (Italy) obtaining the Italian Master’s degree with 110 cum laude. Moreover she studied with David Watkins, Susanna Mildonian and Judith Liber. She is a solo and chamber music performer and has premiered several works. She has also performed at the World Harp Congress in Prague, the European Harp Symposium in Perugia and participated in national and international competitions. Ms Turoni has made her solo debut at Carnegie Hall in New York in 2012. She lives and teaches in Scotland. Area: Edinburgh and Fife
