Portobello Ceilidh Band is one of Scotland’s longest-established and best-loved ceilidh bands.

We provide traditional ceilidh music with a dedicated dance-caller for all kinds of events, and cherish the unique way in which ceilidhs can bring people together. We have a great commitment to the fun of ceilidh dancing, and retain a whole-hearted respect for its music. Fiddle and accordion are underpinned by rhythm guitar and electric bass; our caller Cath is on the floor throughout the evening, demonstrating, encouraging and giving confidence to dancers of any level of experience.
