MOC & Wedding Day Manager

A Master of Ceremonies/Wedding Day Manager in formal red tailcoat for your reception. On duty from an hour prior to the ceremony until the end of the first dance. • Meeting with the happy couple as early as possible after booking me to go over your plans and wishes • Advice on etiquette and customs • Greet your guests to the reception • Liaise with the photographer • Liaise with the videographer • Liaise with the caterers/chef/venue management • Organize the receiving line, announce guests • Co-ordinate acceptance of gifts • Call attention to the seating plan • Announce the top table into the reception • Announce the happy couple into the reception • Organize and announce the cutting of the cake • Use of my full-size Claymore sword to cut your cake • Skirls Aloud unique Quaich ceremony • Announce the toasts and the speakers • Assist in the presenting of special gifts or bouquets • Say grace, if required • Read cards and other messages, if required • Announce and arrange the retiring of the couple from the table • Ensure the arrangements for the evening/liaise with the band/disco • Announce the first dance • Plus, many other unseen tasks that go to make the day perfect

Piper & Master of Ceremonies

• Bagpiping outside your ceremony venue for 30 minutes prior to the bride’s arrival • Playing the brides processional tune (if required) • Playing during the signing of the register (if required) • Playing the Happy Couple’s recessional tune (if required) • Playing outside the ceremony venue during photographs • Playing as guests arrive at reception venue (if ceremony and reception venues are different) • Playing as the Happy Couple arrive at reception venue (if ceremony and reception venues are different)

Master of Ceremonies and Wedding Day Manager As your Master of Ceremonies and Wedding Day Manager I am there to coordinate with all your suppliers and manage the day on your behalf. Initially designed for hired halls and DIY weddings, but works equally well in hotels etc. As your personal assistant on the day my role is to ensure that everything goes according to your plans allowing you to relax and mingle with your guests safe in the knowledge that your day is being steered and guided according to your wishes. Unobtrusive, well versed in all forms of etiquette and protocol, I am always on hand to deal with any issues or hiccups that may arise leaving you the freedom and confidence to relax and mingle with your guests. With over 20 years in the wedding industry and over 1000 weddings under my belt your wedding is in the safest of hands.
